I don't know what rank you have to be until supports understand how to play Janna, but as it is, I've gotten my ass HANDED to me every time my support plays Janna... (I'm in gold). For one, no one ever knows how to use spell thiefs with AA's, so ofc the other support does 10x more poke damage. They always miss their tornados some how, they always shield at wrong times.... They only use their ult to try and protect us from a dive... Like they're just useless. If you're not Diamond, please stop playing this fucking champion.

Janna is good in low elo if ADC is competent. But if ADC cant dodge skillshots, then Janna wont be of much use. If you play Janna into Leona/Thresh/Blitz/ Naut, you wont do much if ADC is bad.

If you checked your Jannas match history, you would see that she is Janna main with positive winrate and good scores. Problem with Janna is that she is too dependant on ADCs competence.

Win rates are 50%+ consistently across all Ranks other than Bronze, and in Bronze only occasionally dips barely under.

You're just unlucky. That or it's negativity bias.

Even a Bronze player can do better than what you describe as long as they are experienced with her. They aren't going to do better on any other champion with similar abilities if they aren't experienced with it.

More importantly, I checked that Janna's profile; she was on a losing streak and probably tilting, but her Janna stats were decent; That game was not her average but her worst. Everybody has a bad game sometimes, and not only is it pointless to make a generalization about them over one game, it's even more pointless to make that generalization about several entire tiers because of it.

Janna is a powerhouse for short trades and peels due to shield, Q, W, passive, and R. The problem is if the adc is shit Janna can't do much more then help the adc survive

If the adc is good Janna can make the adc win every early trade, make the enemy unable to follow up, and can turn tower dives from the enemy into. A laugh of an attempt as the janna's adc walks away with 2+ kills

I once had an adc that died every time he came to lane, after 3 deaths he left the game (this was 5 min in (I had no deaths and a kill)

Thier jungler and fed bot tried to 3v1 tower dive me to get the tower and end the laning

I walked away alive with 2 kills and an enemy adc at no hp who died to our jungler after the fact, but I was clearly the problem with that adc constantly dieing ... And yes I was Janna support

I'm Bronze 5 and I can play a pretty mean Janna. So your saying it has to do with rank for people to play Janna then skill? It doesn't matter if your Unranked or Diamond 1. Anyone should be able to play any champion they want.

So you OP just need to accept that, and if you can't then stop playing the game.

Janna is fine. She isnt a poke champion anyway. I no longer even start Spellthief on her. In a lot of cases, tornadoes arent even MEANT to land (on enemy champs). They certainly arent meant to be used as poke. It's not the champ. it's not low ELO.

What you need to understand is this. You, not your support, are responsible for your survival. I will keep you alive and the enemy zoned. What you must do is play smart pay attention to my CDs and Manna. Then try to not get yourself killed by over extending and not backing off when needed. Also drop your OWN wards. It's not just the supports job to ward!

With that being said, don't pick Draven when your support is Janna. They don't blend well. If you're picking ahead of your support, find out who they have and pick a champ that blends well.
