So I got permanently banned...

First off this was only my second report since I started playing again, the game I got reported for the other day I don't even know why I got reported.... I don't even think I said anything the entire game because I was playing in same room with my room mate.

I want to say the report system is flawed, I've deserved chat bans in the past because I'm not good at maintaining myself when people purposely throw my games in ranked and refuse to use teamwork. In every game that requires teamwork, not just video games, people expect you to work as a team. That's including real sports like football. Now when a coaches player does some really stupid thing does the coach give him a pat on the back and say try harder next time? NO, he does not, he drills it into his head that he can play better than that and tells him to get his head into the game. Well if you do that to ACTUAL toxic players, you'll get reported every time for literally trying to get your team together. If I'm feeding and someone tells me to play passive and/or buy this item, I listen to his advice and play for mid/late game. Sadly most players take it as an insult and come at you with common insults like "STFU NOOB U SUCK I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING!", when he's actually building a Phantom Dancer on Riven. Or many times I get the "It's just a game, I can do what I want", which is what I got this time. I understand it's just a game, but it defeats the whole purpose when you do something really stupid and basically forfeit the game for everyone else. I don't care about losing, I never cared about that. What I do care about though is having a good game where both teams actually try to win (in ranked).

So the story behind the game that got my permanently banned, we had a DIAMOND player who was duo'ing with a friend of his. Champ select we get a stereotypical "We're going duo top, nothing will change that". Ok whatever that's cool, I told them the team will probably rage if they're put in that position so I'll go 1v2 bot. All is good they tell me they're going to honor me, w/e. Game starts I'm doing fine as Cho'gath vs a Twitch and Leona. I'm actually ahead in CS farming at tower. Meanwhile the Diamond is playing Heimer and his duo is Zilean, by about 20 minutes the diamond is 0-8-1.

There's a feeder almost every game. We've all been that person. Difference is in how you act to someone asking what's going on or why you're dying so much. I asked how they were losing that lane so bad, the Diamonds response is another typical response of a toxic player, "Cho'gath you suck you're not Diamond, blah blah blah".

In the chat log where I say "HEIMER WTF blah blah", I pinged I'm going to TP top because 2 of their players were at about 10% hp sitting right on top of a ward. So I ping heimer about 3 times that I'm on my way and even type to him to attack. Well he doesn't so they just run away when I TP and we got no kills. He instantly flames at me saying I'm an idiot, calling me a dumbass and everything. He's a Diamond feeding in low gold player, so it's clear he's very upset during this point. I try to maintain my cool as best I can. Further down I ask him to get a Zhonyas, something he should have bought a long time ago on Heimer. He had 2 full items a and . Two items that don't really make sense on him. That's cool, maybe he just doesn't know how to build Heimer, so I tell him to get a Zhonyas. Instantly he tells me "No", and goes on and on about how this is just a game and he can play how he wants. Remind you, there's a report feature for refusing to communicate, negative attitude, and intentionally feeding.. All of which don't matter. The only report feature that matters is Verbal Abuse. But he definitely has a negative attitude, he definitely is refusing to communicate, and he's definitely intentionally feeding because "it's only a game, i can play and build how i want". He posted his twitch . tv URL, I even went in there and ask him wtf was his deal. He even told me it's only a game he only plays to have fun so he does what HE thinks is fun. Trolling your team you would think would be a bannable offense, it heavily impacts if you win or lose. If you don't like the guy asking you to group up or build a certain item that will drastically help you, you can mute him. Either way, moral of the story, I get banned while a diamond playing ranked in gold feeds and uses verbal abuse gets to keep playing.

Also, it might look like I was typing a lot, but everything was a RESPONSE to the diamond who was trolling and feeding.

I would like another chance please. If I have to just never use the chat system, whatever... All I want is for my team to at least put some effort into a ranked game. Even in blind pick you should at least try. I mean if you go around team killing in Call of Duty you get kicked.. It's the same thing in League when you troll because we rely on them to play as a team to win the game. If they don't, we most likely lose.

So please, I do not think this ban was even close to being justifiable. I don't even think riot looks at what was actually said in the games from other players. Maybe I should just accept when a game's a loss and stop trying like everyone else does but I almost always have hope we can still win. The absolute best games are when you're behind all game and somehow your team works together to make an AWESOME comeback. It's so rewarding. Sadly most people just give up and feed without care.

I believe THAT should be more of a bannable offense than trying to give advice to your team. Please riot.
