Butt hurt players are the problem, not toxic players.

The difference between a toxic player and a non-toxic player is that one actually communicates with his team where the other is a mute. That is literally the only difference.

I've gotten better at how I talk with my team, but many times you just have to tell them to STFU and that they're bad. The only difference between bronze and gold is that most gold players think they know everything.

How can I not be toxic when our team chooses no tanks in a tank meta, or no one wards even though everyone has 2 free wards these days, or your carries keep wandering off by themselves late game just to be caught out for the 5th time, or you're split pushing top while your entire team is at base deciding what to buy next or just last hitting minions at bot. Feeding isn't even an issue these days, it's r%%%%%ation mechanics. I suggest our tank builds armor instead of that banshees he jsut bought against an entirely AD team, then I'm called a flamer that just needs to focus on myself.

I'm always a positive sport and if you have the mindset to win the game, IDC if you're doing bad, just don't rage at me when I ask you to try somethine different. That's the problem with this community, it's the butt hurt players, not the toxic players. I can't tell you how many times I've been reported for just suggesting things, and it's not like I'm saying "Stupid noob stop dying and l2p".... I suggest to Jax he builds something other than a BT first, and I get reported for verbal abuse. There seriously needs to be a counter measure to this. Because with this system right now, if you try to give leadership to your team with down syndrome, you get reported and chat banned for it. If this was Call of Duty where I didn't have to heavily rely on my team, I just wouldn't talk. Sadly I have to though.

Its not what you say its how you say it. You claim that you're just helping them out but based how much you insult your hypothetical "team" in this post ("STFU", "they're bad", "retardation mechanics", "down syndrome", etc) my guess it that you're not exactly friendly when you give advice. If you tell someone to stop acting retarded and buy armor then yeah they are going to absolutely blow you off, even if you are right.

If you wouldn't say it to a stranger in real life you shouldn't say it to a stranger in a video game. I doubt you've ever told someone in real life they have down syndrome just because they are doing something differently than you and you think your way is better.

Its not about people being butt hurt, its about people responding normally to something they consider insulting. Can you honestly say that if someone said to you the stuff that you said to your team you wouldn't tell them to STFU?

I RARELY have this problem and I always give my team advice. So why do I never get reported and yet you do?

But the difference lies in how you say. Calling people bad isnt toxic, especially when you try help them after saying they are bad. Telling them they are bad and they should uninstall the game/kill themselves is! Communication is key to this game, And there will be people who will not listen. just like in real life. But if they dont want to listen to you, you cant make/force them to. Being toxic just for that is wrong.

i kinda think its a must for supports to buy wards and the ones who dont arent really trying. that also goes for solo lanes who die and over extend but dont buy a ward. as for calling people out i try not to thrash talk them unless they call me out for making a mistake and they are doing horrible. i tell them dont trash talk me until your no longer negative your 0/7/1 or something along that line. on the other hand there is people who dont care about taking the game serious or just like to watch the world burn and these people are the real annoying ones. if they really get on your nerves just mute them and only talk by pings.

The players you speak of are toxic themselves. The sheep, Riot included don't want to recognize that as such and therefore will never be punished. It sucks, but that's the truth, even if they don't want to admit it. If you are continuously bad at this game you are more toxic then the people telling you that you are bad. I don't get why people do not understand simple logic. IDC if it's not against the rules to be bad. You are still the most toxic player in the game if you are and never improve.
