So i just bought Taliyah and realized that i can't really play her. I played her when she was released and she was fine, strong and fun. But after her W changes she's like unplayable for me, w is just too slow compared to her old w. Are they ever gonna make her W like it was before? Or is there a way to activate her W quickly?
inplane3 votesRiot Zenon has confirmed that a QoL change is going to be done in the near future. It's going to make it so her W will cast when left click is held down instead of when it is released. This would make it activate faster and allow vertical knockups again, making it cast more like Old W did.

Boulderox2 votesno, the trouble on original kit had the problem of being locked out of any and all spells until w was used, and it was clunky too in many players eyes, and wanted vector a lot.
vector casts were desired for her w, she recieved a nerf to allow her to have the ability w into e, a nice change, but is still difficult at times, but i feel it is better in the end being vector, i recommend having it on smart cast, as it is easier to use and to play a custom game and practice the W at ranges.
even as a rank 7 i miss w, it is difficult but has a lot of power.
