The slow resist aspect of Yi`s ultimate is long due to be removed

Lucian got his slow removal taken out cause of the stickyness, and he is a ranged champ.

Why in the times of Phage, red boots and low CD alpha strike does Yi need extra cancer on his list of strenghts by making him unable to get slowed? Atleast make it so slows are REDUCED but not completely removed.

This would actually make him BALANCED and remove all the aspects that people complain about.

Master Yi's Highlander has been in the game forever. He is one of the 450 champs. And that is one of the core aspects of his ultimate.

It's just not something you could remove without it feeling like a real piece of League is being removed with it.

Nah, that's not really the problem. Nerfing Yi just because Sated Dev and Guinsoos are broken is a bad idea.

Lucian got the slow removal taken out because they majorly decreased the cooldown of his dash. He had a change, and that was part of it. The same reasoning doesn't apply to Yi.

Why in the times of Phage, red boots and low CD alpha

What do these have to do with anything? He doesn't build phage, red boots are a last purchase if even that, and alpha stike has had exactly the same cooldown for years. Literally nothing you have said here is part of what has changed to make him strong now.

This would actually make him BALANCED

That's extremely debatable.

This is a core piece of his design. Other parts of his kit should be hit first if he needs it.

Honestly if your team has good cc all around, with at least one hard cc per person, Yi is really easy to deal with and may as well not exist unless he's off 1v1ing someone. He can feel really overbearing when you're not playing to his weaknesses, but that's because you're not playing to his weaknesses. He frustrates us all from time to time, but he is one of the more counterable assassins in this game.

Yi is fine (play him in lane, you'll see he's quite balanced). Sated is not. Remove the interaction between sated and Yi's true damage should make him more balanced. The true damage is approximately fine but it becomes bullsh*t when he has sated to amplify it. True damage should not be amplified, previous cases such as true damage (ignite) being amplified by things such as Swain's E, poppy's old ult were reworked, why not do the same for Yi? I think it is wrong to look at a champion being strong and try nerfing him on his core identity and not what's the real cause of his strength.
