PSA: Please please please say what role you want in champion select
So, I just got out of a ranked game. Most of our team said their roles, we had an adc pref, a support pref, a jungle pref, and I said mid pref. Come our turn, since we were red side, first pick and I got to choose our champs at the same time. I select Lux, and I voiced my desire for mid lane. After about seconds, I lock her in. Our first pick had selected Yasuo. I assumed he was going top, since its been a thing as of late. After we both lock in, the first thing he says in chat is "Barrier on top? Interesting choice." His duo makes it very obvious he has no intention to go top. So, here I am, Lux, now being forced out of the lane I thought I would have. We lost that game. However, if Yasuo has said from the start he intended on taking mid lane, I would have gladly switched over to adc or support. However, he did not. Instead he and his duo spent the remained of the game, complaining how their team didn't have a support when the enemy did.
Tl;Dr: Please voice your desired role, more communication leads to more victories.
, early power spikes and you're not gonna get outscaled until everyone hits 6 items. Trinity makes you versatile and beefy and you can build whatever the frik you need as a second item.
its the best.
jangle is a safe pick as I can either opt for
or
depending on my team comps needs. Most of the time I see that my team needs more tank and it makes me very happy to go cinderhulk for them :D
still my fave shyvana build =\
It does not help your team if someone locks one of these champions on a team, and no one builds around them, or takes any proper CC which is why letting everyone know what you are playing is just as important as calling a role because otherwise it leads to toxicity, loss of game, and players who get angry when someone breaks the meta because you end up with a team like this,
which serves no purpose when an enemy team ends up with all all in team comp which is better than yours and they win because they took crowd control for example, the game the OP talks about in this example, a
support and
Mid would have been great, but the chances of getting a team who doesn't just auto lock stuff and creates problems is like very small.
