I don't want Vayne nerfed.

Yes, I know. Downvotes incoming. However, I really do not want a Vayne nerf. Before you guys scream "VAYNE MAYNE BURN THE WITCH" and downvote, hear me out please.

Vayne is strong right now, yes. She has self peel, % true damage, destroys squishies and tanks alike, and is very mobile with hard cc outside of an ult. Her early game is supposed to be her weakness, but right now its actually not that bad at all. She wins engages at level 6, and has sustain as part of her build path, with her ult making up for the lost AD. All of this makes Vayne sound strong, and she is. Why don't I want her nerfed?

I want her counters, and other adcs buffed. Example A) Miss Fortune. Currently, Vayne vs MF is actually a pretty even match up. Why? MF just isn't that strong right now. Back in the day, MF was a great lane bully. However, it seems Lane bullies are a lot less strong, especially immobile ones. If MF, Caityn, Twitch, Ezreal, and Varus were actually able to abuse her early, she would be much more manageable.

That's true, at least the MF part. I played double arcade MF & Veigar (due to arcade spirit) vs Vayne & Janna. Despite sometimes Veigar missed the stuns and the fact he isnt going pure damage, I still can 1v1 or sometimes 1v2 successfully with vayne (Diamond 1) as MF. I ended up something like 9/6/1 but we lost cus MF really can't do much in teamfight (and bot was the only lane doing fine).

Vayne put up quite a fight, but I think MF's damage is no joke. I'd love to see an underdog like MF starts counter certain popular adcs like vayne.

Although I did just start a thread about the opposite of this one, I'm looking forward to the ADC item reworks. They might passively move the outliers into line without any buffs or nerfs on the champions.

Vayne's lack of real weakness early isn't due to lane bullies not being that good, it's due to Vayne not being weak early.

One on one, Vayne can beat almost any ADC and many top laners in a fight in the early game.

Try to fight a lane bully as Nasus at level 1-3, and see what happens. Any good Pantheon, Renekton, or pre-rework Darius (rest in piece sweet prince) would tear your fucking head off.

Vayne can beat the shit out of a Miss Fortune or Caitlyn starting at level 2.

Sure, you can take advantage of her fairly short effective range to harass and bully her in lane, but she also has a lot of self-peel and mobility to make actually killing her difficult, and a Vayne losing in CS can still duel just about any other ADC save Quinn and potentially Graves once she gets her Blade of the Ruined King (an item that's build path frankly makes bullying her considerably more difficult, due to its sustain).

Compared to Nasus, who has a slow that drains like a fourth of his mana if he uses it, and is immobile.

I compare her to Nasus because he's basically the top lane Vayne. The hyperscaling super duelist who is weak early. Only Nasus is actually weak early, and is arguably less effective in practical terms than Vayne is late game. Vayne is abusable in the early game, but she isn't weak.

Compare her to some other late game bot lane carries, like Kog who is an immobile little bitch early game, and Twitch who is also fairly short ranged and one of the worst laners in the game.

Only Jinx is comparable to Vayne, in that she scales super well into late game but actually has a very solid laning phase.

Even if you buff lane bullies it wont hurt her that bad. For the most part my solo queue games go to 40+ minutes so even if she does die 2 or so times in lane by 35 minutes if she keeps farming and get a some kills in team fights she would out scale most lane bullies anyways. So really if they feel she is really strong they would have to nerf her slightly and buff the lane bullies at the same time to do it properly.

If Vayne weren't too strong compared to OTHER roles and champions, I'd agree. However, she STILL won't be vulnerable early game. unless you buffed Graves, MF and such back to the level they used to be when Vayne was considered weak early.

All I can say to that is, well, there was a reason they were nerfed. Vayne's issue isn't number tuning, it's her kit. Lee Sin is strong, for example, because he's kit strong. Vayne is kit strong but numerically weak early, which very quickly becomes a non-problem.

Some of those champs do need some buffs, but that really is neither here nor there when it comes to Vayne. The issues with Vayne is that presently she basically hard counters over half the champs in the game. And while people talk about her being an issue in bot lane, at least there people have the means to fight her. Have you seen her in top lane? Basically she is autowin there if the other team picks their top laner first and happens to pick any kind of tanky melee champ. In top lane her "weak early game" becomes anything but. Vayne is just pure cancer right now.
