So about Pacher's Smite....

So I think the community as a whole can agree that item 3711 is by far the worst jungling item right now. The idea is good, if not great, but the execution has been a little weak. For starters, it only gives 20 gold per steal on camps with a rather long cooldown (100 seconds I think) and is horrid for farming your own jungle. Seriously, if you get 20 of your enemy's camps that's only 400 bonus gold (and few enemy junglers will let that happen)... If anyone catches you sneaking around, it's useless. In addition, the MS buff starts when you kill the monster. Great for stealing a buff or getting one fast when you got the clear time, but not nearly as useful as if it applied on smite (in the event that an enemy jungler found you there doing his camp). So in an effort to keep 4 jungle items that all have decent benefits, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to fix the item. I personally can only see it improving if it helped with the jungle clears or opponent interference more like maybe if it made camps do 15% reduced damage for 6 seconds or caused a camp to explode on death after being smited, doing a % slow to nearby enemies in addition to the movement speed buff. The clear for the % reduced damage buff would be good, and it'd allow for a slight increase in potential junglers, while the slow explosion would make for champs like Nunu and Skarner to have phenomenal counter jungling potential. What do you guys think? Any other ideas?

What if it just passively gave you some increases sustain to keep you a bit healthier in the enemy jungle and/or giving you 5-10 gold on a large monster without smite in the enemy jungle with smite giving you 20 more (for a total of 25-30 when smiting) to encourage you going and counter jungling?

Random thoughts.

I like it... but I feel as though the smite amount needs to be raised a bit still. Maybe 25? or 30 or something? just my initial reaction. I hope they figure it all out soon. I'd love the added diversity it could bring with a slight buff.
