So I am a senior in highschool who has played for two years or so (since Vel was released). In that time I have fallen in love with the game, and it has even helped me pick my majors for college this fall. So sometime last spring, I decided I needed to suck up all my doubts and anxiety and apply for an internship for the summer before I head off to college in my home city (St. Louis) for Game Design. So for a year I brainstormed. Many things were born that way, but I was biased, so I got some help from a friend or two for balance. The result? 8 ENTIRE champions complete with kits, lore, stats, scalings, intended playstyles and concept arts (hopefully. one or two are tough to do right). One may even have her splash art done in time. Anyways, I have 4 AP classes in school to juggle with this stuff so progress slowed around August.

I had misread the website (really badly) and was panic-stricken about the due date being in November (I'd read the 23rd somewhere). At the time, I had 6 champs, two with identity crises, 1 I couldn't even mentally picture without a headache, and one I couldn't give an ult for the life of me. Then I checked again and say Feb 16th (I thought) and I frickin cried with relief (this was near midnight on Nov. 22nd when I discovered this). The extra months allowed so much progress. Quotes, better concept arts, refined idea, and a base idea for a new map (the name is in debate, but either "The Arcanum Spire" or "The Celestial Temple") where 20 players at once could play in FFA's, 10v10s, 5v5v5v5's, or 2v2v2v2v2's (only ten players, but should still work fine) with two tiers. This map was almost scrapped due to time, and even now it won't be done in time for the application (over 30 sketches were destroyed in January in an accident, and it just hasn't been something I can recreate very easily).

Anyways, I was ready to CRAM to finish the quotes for a duelist, a caster jg, a void support, a caster/melee (part time) adc, a caster top/mid, and an anti-AD mid (quotes were only fully done for a mid and sup who have some crazy stuff too) as well as finishing their concept arts by Tuesday, but I checked the date and found Feb 29th. I am so utterly relieved to be able to give these kits the time they deserve to be authentic, and I may even be able to get the new map back (should my memory be willing to retrieve it from last October when it was made). Heck, I may even be able to get the release skins down for all 8 of the champs.

Now, the thing Rito did to be so awesome: You guys didn't rush anything except your responses (12 days at the latest is quite exceptional). Despite how swamped you guys must be, you gave so much leniency that I had to tell you myself how awesome you are. Also, since it has come to my attention that I need to link all of these to you in the application, all non-Rito readers can look forward to ALL of it being posted on the boards on the 28th (maybe a Shaco lore change too, but that's still iffy) so I can link them all. Now, if this isn't the right way to do that, someone please tell me so I can do it right and I will edit this post so no one is disappointed at no post.

My only regret is my lack of experience at animation and art fundamentals that have hindered me from making loading screens for the 8 champs. Unfortunately, 3 songs for individual champs also got destroyed in the january accident. I am trying so hard to get one back, but I think I'll need to redo them, prob after the application (but if I'm accepted this won't be as hard hopefully. My friend atm is musically and artistically gifted, so that helps too). Anywhos, you guys are straight amazing, and I needed to tell you that. Have an equally amazing day. I will answer any comments I can.

Press enter roughly 8 times in bursts of two whenever your post gets a new thought and that should help with the wall of text issue.
