Why do they say they want to quash the power of singular items and champs??

Stupid idea if you ask me. Who taught them this stuff? HOw come THEY get to chose over US?? The power of unique strategies is what creates interesting dynamics, giving us the pleasure of watching different approaches clash with each other and create sparks.

What nonsense is this???

Regarding your PS I'll make this as simple as possible.

Because they fucking own the game, they fucking balance the game, and they fucking understand the game. The majority of players don't even have the last part down.

Ignore that. I m pointing out a stupid thing RITO did. You don't need to mention that they own the game, because that doesn't justify being stupid. Do YOU think its stupid? Why? Why not? Whats YOUR opinion as regards this matter? How would YOU balance the game if it was YOUR choice?

Here's the short and simple version.

They're trying to kill off singularly overpowered strategies. Not all unique strategies, but the ones that are fucking broken.

I'm pretty sure the "unique ways" is throwing you off, what they meant in the patch notes is that they want to avoid situations where there is only strategical option. See League of Cleavers, League of Warmogs ect.
