State of champion releases+reworks
2013 : 8 champs + 7 gameplay updates 2014 : 6 champs + 11 Gameplay updates 2015 : 5 champs + 15 Gameplay updates (Not counting visual updates since it doesn't require a champion designer) 2016 : Less than 5 champs ? In exchange of even more reworks ? Same plan as 2015 ?
Can we have any news about the future plans of champions releases... Riot said in EARLY 2013 it would be slower, but it keeps getting even slower and there's no notice for 2016 or the current plan as of now. I do see the pattern of less new champions for more Reworks, but I think it would be nice to have some sort of confirmation to know if it will keep going that way (less new champions for more reworks and VUs).
What do you guys think ? We didn't even get a real mage this Year (unless you count Ekko being AP assassin as one. I still find him great btw). We only got a Zilean and Ryze rework for mages this year. I think Marksman update compensate for ADCs by alot since the new ADC is a jungler, but I'm scared for a role sacrifice each year.
I also feel like you will hold off mages releases until you update the class as a whole since it seems like what you did for Marksmen update with Jhin coming out this month.
PS : For me real mage = Lissandra, Vel'koz, Azir and such, not assassins :x Next champion being an ADC (as far as the teases tell us) doesn't help the fear I have too.
