Champion Roadmap: August 2018 - Nexus

Let's just understand the timeline and estimated releases of the upcoming champions/VGUs

The official order given by Reav3 is : Nunu, Ezreal, Colorful mage, New champ (chain) and Kayle/Morg Duo.

Nunu is certainly coming this month (Expect him in the next PBE update)

Kayle/Morg is slated for 2019

Colorful Mage is clearly for this year but when ?

Ezreal VU and W rework shouldn't be too long... but September would feel early.

Chain guy would be teased very early if it'S only a January 2019 release.

I expect :

Nunu This month, Ezreal in september, Colorful Mage right before worlds in October, Chain champ as the last champ of the year after worlds in November.

Then we get roadmap early January.

Makes sense ?

Hmm I'm not totally sure if we will indeed see the Chain champion by the end of the year or not. Their kind of cryptic text made it feel like its a bit later, but also was hinting towards the story. I feel that one may be in January or February 2019 followed by the Roadmap.

But I do hope to see Nunu this month, Ezreal next month and then the new mage (pretty sure a female) around October/November

I think Kayle/Morgana are going to be a January release, however due to how it's 2 reworks not one I'd imagine we'll get a PAINFUL period of content-drought leading up to them, like the month going up to Xayah Rakan

Ezreal may easily fit late september maybe since it's not a complete VGU and more focused on his visuals. Who knows, maybe he can be teased during Worlds?

My theory is Nunu in August (next PBE) -> Ezreal around September -> Color Mage as last champion of the year around late November -> 'Chains' in late Janurary and Kayle/Morgana around Februrary?

It does mean that we probably won't see another major VGU until April. Possibly another minor like Ezreal, but nothing Tier 1.

I think the chain-champ will be released either in december this year or in january of the next one.

Because only getting Nunu,ezreal and the color-champ feels like it isn't enough for the rest of the year,even if we take into account that the next year will get a double-VGU.

However since december is usually only getting 1 patch,it is possible that chains would be released in january instead if he can't make it til the december patch.

That's about what I was thinking. These last couple years we didn't get anything in December, I think. Right? I'm not 100% on that though. Last year for sure.

As much as I can Ezreal to be as soon as sept its kinda feels to early and too quick .
