I remember mid game i got hit by a varus Q for 680.
Late game my varus Qs are doing about 600-650 to squishies fully charged
Am i building him wrong?

I take him bot lane i wanna build him like a normal adc tho.
Skip the Runaan's and pick up a Shiv. It makes wave clearing so much easier and your Blight stacks tend to be AoE anyway if you hit good ults.
600 damage to squishies is still like, at least a quarter of their health, which is great, but if you really want to amp that up skip crit entirely and go Tear+Youmuu's into straight AD. Talking 
If you want to play a varus build that focuses on Q damage, and has 40% CDR:
If you only want to hurt squishies, then you can finish the build off with a , but I don't recommend that because you won't hurt tankys as much.
will help you hurt tanks more, even if your Q will hit for a little less against squishy targets.
Ask your support to get 
so you can get 100% crit change.
That build is fine, but it focuses on auto attack damage rather than Q damage.
+ are necessary for high early/mid game q damage for the flat armor pen. That said, I think the essence reaver build is probably better.
