45% Win Rate Ryze Nerfed Again

The ability to build double tear was eliminated on 4.6 due to Ezreal. Some Ryze players did the late game double tear build and therefore also got nerfed due to these changes aimed at Ezreal.

Would it be possible to revert this... or allow Ryze to build double tear? His win rate is 45%... he didn't need another nerf!

Thanks.

Unfortunately, ryze is restricted because of his pro play potential. RNG mid laner literally just pulled off a 2v5 yesterday with him

Sorry. The reason Ryze is 45% has nothing to do with strength, nor does win rate correlate with ANY metric that matters.

Complex hard to learn champions ALL have low win rates. What matters is the delta from that win rate people who play the champs achieve.

Champs like Zoe Zed Yasuo Tristana Nidalee Nunu Katarina Braum Azir Ryze Elise

All have artificially low win rates because their kits are complex and harder to learn than other champions. Master them, and you generally can beat any nub in the game. You see more resistance in pro play to these champs, but when executed correctly, they become pro play core.

Yes, clearly my mastery of Braum allows me to 1v1 any noob MasterYi player in the game, how did I never realize this before? Also I don't think it has to do with the fact that the champs have harder kits are why pros do/don't play them it's just that the ones that don't see play all have notable weaknesses

Ryze is different from Zed or Yasuo or whatever, not because his kit is weak. BUT instead because it is far stronger when played with a coordinated team. Like, for example Zoe she's strong in solo que and gets picked in pro play. She has nothing in her kit that directly gets stronger based on how good her team is. Ryze on the other hand, his W is a great early gank setup, his EEQ wave clear is really strong early game if he's given a blue by his jungler and of course his ultimate is the most obvious, in how it literally gives roam potential to champs who normally don't have roam potential. So don't give me that bullshit of "oh he's just a high skill cap champion like Yasuo or Katarina. Ryze is actually a weaker champion, is he bad? No, you can maintain a 60% win rate if you main him. But he certainly isn't as good as those champions are due to how team reliant he is.

If this is that common that build might be WHY his winrate was 45% xD Ryze hardly even gets a chance to auto between all those spells.

Double tear isn't even good on Ryze Theres a reason high elo players don't do it You can see here if you go back enough days (before the patch) https://www.probuilds.net/champions/details/Ryze Ryze stats before patch https://lolalytics.com/ranked/worldwide/9.5/platinum/plus/champion/Ryze/ Ryze stats after patch https://lolalytics.com/ranked/worldwide/9.6/platinum/plus/champion/Ryze/ No change Not nerfed
