On the account I'm ranking up this season every game I mute all and keep pings on. Admittedly I'm very prone to tilting when people that have no idea how to play the game start flaming and spam pinging for reasons they think are valid. Below Diamond I keep my chat OFF, and I would like for there to be a way to limit what pings you can see, or how frequently someone else can ping. People that don't know how shit works will still spam ping the fuck out of you and it always (at least for me) throws you off and tilts you even more even though you aren't actually reading the garbage they're putting in chat. I want to see ONE missing ping, even if it is directly ontop of me because bot just got ganked and don't know how to back up. I want to see ONE back off ping because people don't realize the play you're about to make. And why the fuck can you even ping your own team mates as alive or dead??? The only reason I can think of is bm. this is all it has to take for 1 person that wants to terrorize a match with their fucking stupidity to not be able to tilt others. Just think of all the chat restrictions you're preventing from people unmuting to tell them off too.

Agreed, especially even if possible disable the "?" as a jungler i just mute all, i ping baron they come 10-20 seconds late and we get aced and they spam ping "?" and you can't convince them that if they followed when you pinged, baron was a good call.

Most people that spam ping are toxic, 90% of the time its because they want to let you know that you didn't do what they wanted. 10% its when they know someone is coming and spam ping in hope that you'll back off in time or sometimes they spam ping for you to go in.
