The secret to balancing the game.

Buffs and nerfs are a huge part of the game. They only problem is, we see too many nerfs ad not enough buffs, and if they do buff a champion, they either over or under buff them.

How to fix:

  1. Nerf/buff champions over a few patches: Riot was recently trying this with Graves and Zac recently, (graves for nerf zac for buff), and they really messed up graves this patch, by nerfing him heavily, where they could have kept him in a better state if it was a smaller scale nerf. Zac however, kinda got overbuffed, and is now the highest winrate jungler. They almost always mess good things up. If you did buff champions in need very slightly over a few patches and ones that need nerfs the same way, it would help make more champions viable, while keeping old op champions atleast decent

  2. Buff more champs at a time!: Riot focuses all their energy into 2 champs or so, and there is 134 to balance. Why not like 4 at a time getting small buffs until they are good? Once they get decent, rotate them out for new ones.

  3. Focus on reworks before new champs: I mean large scale ones. We have been waiting for an Urgot rework for seasons now, and we have gotten quite a few new champions and not enough work on the rework. The same goes with champions like Malphite and Evelynn where we have been waiting so long for reworks.

To be fair, they have been doing this. Reworks are coming from all angles now, they've stepped up their game considerably.

True, but the large scale ones aren't there. Sure Warwick happened, but they completely forgot Evelynn Urgot . Malphite They do a lot of small scale ones which is awesome, but some champs are long overdue.

They haven't 'forgotten' Urgot and Evelynn . They're working on Urgot right now! As we type, someone is probably animating his new model, writing his new lore, or programming his new abilities.

Oh, and other 'large-scale' reworks include Gangplank Fiora Galio Ryze Yorick Poppy Taric Shen Sion and, of course, Warwick . Last year, we saw Shen Taric Ryze and Yorick get updates, with Warwick being only a month behind on the boat. Urgot will be reworked before August at worst. Realistically, he'll be out before the end of June.
