Tips for playing with Ivern
Ivern has the fastest level 2 in the game, being able to instaclear a jungle camp. He can then set up 2 more camps and chug all his health pots, and after getting his Q and E level 1 and 2, he can instantly come to gank. When playing with an Ivern, don't try and leash him, but stick around in case people try to invade him. He will generally start his Q which is a very powerful snare and engage tool. This is what can easily secure first blood on an invade. This will also be the tool that allows him to gank easily - He lands his snare, the support flies in, he places his shield on the support and the enemy is slowed when it explodes.
DO NOT hard push your lane level 1 if Ivern says he's going to gank you.
Chocolate Frost Ivern should ALWAYS invade. His Q allows him to leap over a wall onto a targeted monster and his channel is very short. Once finished, smite the camp and then be on your merry way.
Secondly, Hunter's Potion is an item I use on every jg regardless of resources. The potion activates AFTER he frees a monster and not before. Health pots are just a gold sink on him and will force you back very often.
