grievous wounds for tanks

Please let tanks have an item that reduces enemy healing...

Seems like that would be the worst of all possible ideas.

Suddenly, tanks that rely on shielding or resistance buffs take over the game, while tanks and fighters who get their defensive perks and sustain through healing get shat on. No AD is ever incentivized to build Mortal Reminder ever again, because if they need to kill an enemy that has sustain, they'll just get their tank to lock them down and shut down their healing.

So on and so forth.

Good, I could actually play mundo and chase down the enemy adc once again like he is supposed to be able to do...

But when you give tanks access to grievous wounds, marksmen suddenly build ldr, and hit you for even more than before, because they don't have to worry about your healing, since one simple autoattack or ability from his tank stops your healings.

Thats what he meant tho.

Well nope. If you add more grievious wound to the game, mundo falls even more behind.

It's a buff for tanks with shields and a nerf for tanks with regen.

The issue there would be that tanks live for a long time and tend to be sticky, so there's not much counter to constant crippled healing. At least with mages/ADC they have the risk of dying if you touch them.

or you have the current issue that even with thornmail + full armor the adc still drain tanks you...

if only that applied to executioners.

which builds into an anti-tank item.

When not many tanks thrive off in-combat sustain

Or just have your tank build EC as tank items aren't expensive so a tank could easily spare the 800 gold and item slot.
