So, i am learning a ap poke champion and im stuck between xerath and ziggs, so which one is better in the current meta? has higher snowball potential, who can carry harder, and the champ that i would just plain enjoy more, i heard that the ludens nerfs to ziggs hurt him really hard, is that true?

both are good and excel as different things. xerath can burst a target better but ziggs and burst a team better.

Xerath is in a better place at the moment. His skill shots are easier to land and his stun can save him from far worse situations than Ziggs' Satchel Charge.

That's not saying Ziggs isn't a great Champion, but he takes a lot more mastery if you want him to perform on the same level as Xerath. It's kind of like comparing a Lee Sin insec kick to a Vi ultimate. They're about the same in power level, but the latter just requires a single click where the former takes tons of practice.

So I think it depends on two things. Which one you have the best feel for, and whether you want to seriously dedicate yourself to mastering the Champion.

Xerath has better Mana Sustain with his passive. (cause people complain about mana these days)

But these two champs serve different Functions. I'm Thinking that Xerath would be better in the Mid game, when people are still rotating around the map, Because his ult is good for picking off stragglers and assisting Jungle invades. Ziggs is a bit better Late game I think, Or rather he's really good at getting to the late game. His ult and other spells give hims supreme wave clear, making him a good choice in a late scaling comp.

If you are good at skillshots, then take Xerath. The reason being that he has a great stun. If you aren't good at skill shots, then take Ziggs. He is easier to learn, plus if you have a late scaling team, he will help you make it to late game easier.

Okay but which one snowballs better, because a lot of the games I play i get first blood on my lane opponent.

And also how hard did the ludens nerf hit each champion? like on a 1-10 1 being had no impact and 10 being you shouldnt build it on this champ anymore.

So i decided to go with ziggs, mostly because i hate being completely immobile and with xeraths ult i feel really locked up.
