Idea to let Ahri have different orb colors on her skins

So, the new Arcade ahri skin being announced has made me think of a few things with Ahri's aesthetics, mainly her orb.

It has been said by Riot that they cannot change the actual orb color for balancing reasons because of her passive, and can only change the particle effects that trail off the orb.

I'd like to revisit this issue with an idea that may allow Ahri's skins to use their respective themes for her orb. ( firefox: orange, Challenger: red, Dynasty: white or something. )

*Make Ahri's passive give her an effect rather than her orb, like how annie's works. Or give her an entirely new passive. (As someone who is experienced with Ahri the heal really isn't beneficial to me)

Obviously this isn't really a big deal, but I feel like there are a lot of ways to make it obvious her passive is up without preventing her orb from changing colors based on the skin.

I bought every single Ahri skin. I don't really use Dynasty or midnight, but its Ahri so :P

I don't play her a ton anymore. She was my main when I very first started but I was terrible and didn't know how to manage mana so I was convinced she had mana issues and I stopped playing her ;p After a couple months though, I came back to my home in midlane with assassins and burst mages :) Still play her rarely tbh, but she's really consistent. Don't blame you for maining her :)

When I first started she was the only champion I played. I ended up being pretty good on her, at least according to the people I played with. I made it into Plat 1 my first season of League (technically 2nd, I spent november-december 2014 getting my account to lvl 30) just by playing her.

I ended up playing a whole bunch of support this season, and now I have more games on support zyra sadly. Only recently have I been playing mid lane more.

Try this build, its surprisingly good. Lich bane -> Rylais -> protobelt.

I'll try that out eventually, I usually just go Morello-Abyssal. Picking Diana into Ahri is one of my favourite hobbies tbh... I mained Zyra mid to plat (5?4?) last season because she was a bit broken :') I actually kind of hate new Zyra, but the changes made were necessary I guess, although I feel like she does no damage. I haven't even had motivation to climb this account this season. It was my original account so I went 9-1 in placements and got B5, got to S4 with a 68% win rate and then just couldn't be bothered to put in the effort.. Climbing in Silver is so different from high gold. You have to destroy your lane, shotcall and keep your teammates calm, just not worth the effort :') We should do casual 1v1's sometime if that's something you're into, I like 1v1'ing higher elo mains.

Dang, I went 3-7 in my placements and got gold 2. I'm not a big fan of 1v1's, I've never been good at laning. I always just roam and try to make myself useful. For zyra, Try running 20 magic pen on your runes, and thunderlords. try rushing sorc boots and haunting guise. It gives you a lot of damage

Well this account was actually the lowest of low when I abandoned it. Getting b5 after 9-1 still felt bad, that technically would've just gotten me gold again haha. That's fair, I think I'm strongest in lane. The mechanically intense matchups are my favourite. I 1v1 a diamond friend all the time, good fun :') And I really don't play her anymore. I played Syndra/Zyra so much while climbing they're kind of dead to me at the moment ;p

People who aren't colored blind can easily see when her orb is not green. But this community sucks because people are too lazy to check to see if Ahri's passive isn't green. I had said/asked for something similar in the past. An Annie jhin passive. This way her orb can change colors or particle effects for her skins. It would be so easy to do too..
