Why not just balance her as a roam-heavy midlaner?
With Eve as a jungler, you need to constantly be wary of stealth ganks, and you cannot ward against her with your trinket.
If she is mid, she retains the ward immunity, but you can now at least check mid periodically to see if she is still there.

Kassadin (before his silence was removed) was completely broken. Ever since they removed it, Kassadin has been trash tier. That is not good balance.
wtf? after his rework he was still good due to his ultimate and he had to get nerfed numerous times even after being reworked.

Due to this, eve has free reign early game, and riot nerfs the living shit out of her so that she doesn't become popular.

I was never a fan of how RIOT handled Kassadin, but at least it's something we can look back at and learn from and hope they never do again.
