Having trouble early clear w/ rengar

I just bought rengar and a new skin for him and I was really excited to try him out for the first time. Unfortunately, I don't know the best pathing for him, and I got executed twice in my first game with him. What masteries/runes and what path/method should I be using to ensure a healthy early clear? Thanks
