Wtf?

In a game with a friend and it just completely stopped. Nothing like the usual packet loss that I experience but the game just paused altogether and I'm stopped in front of the krugs looking like a dumbass. Messaged my duo friend and he said that he was kicked out of the game. He also told me that his client acted as if the game had never happened (instead of his status saying he was in game, it said he was online)
