Lulu Support Tilts Me

Having a Lulu as the support on my team generally puts me on immediate tilt.

The champion can't act as a tank, can't aggressively lock down targets, leads to awkward bot lanes, and doesn't even have any heals.

Chances, all the Lulu is going to do in lane is randomly press Shields on the ADC (that probably won't be synced at all with any damage, hence wasted). The Lulu is going to expect the ADC to go in first but the ADC won't be used to that and even if he goes in, if the shield is badly timed, you're on the back foot.

A Lulu lane is generally a lane where nothing happens or a lane where you feed.

In mid or late game if Lulu's team is ahead... great. Its good that the Lulu is throwing out a few shields and sometimes making the carries Big. But then again, we didn't need a Lulu. Lulu's largely unnecessary at this point, any other support would have brought more.

If you're team is BEHIND then Lulu is the most useless thing ever. Can't poke, no heals (which is shocking on an enchanter), no lock down CC that's comparable to other supports. No damage. No come back. None whatsoever. Just going to be lobbing around a big shield that's only once in a while going to actually block something.

Literally the definitional Win More champ.

I think you been playing with some not experienced lulu players. I have been playing lulu support in rank and I love her harass. Also when a enemy champ dives hard on my team it's nice to polymorph them so they just walk in and take a bunch of damage with no response.Lulu

Also... who the hell plays this game and goes...

"I'm going to play a Support that throws out shields and can occasionally turn someone into a squirrel. That's all I'm going to do. Hopefully someone on my team will carry and I can just spam shield that person. And it will hopefully do something. If my team starts losing... well I'll just throw some shields but probably ff."

Like why?

How is this even fun?

If your team was winning, they don't need your shields to lock down the win (but they could have used Naut/Leona engages, Sona heals or Morg binds). Carries carry by avoiding damage anyways, if they're getting hit then the shields can hardly save them forever...

and if you're losing... well the shields won't do anything.

that shield gives a speed boost

I mean... if my team is winning; the other champs are better at locking down the wins (ex Leona, Morg, Sona etc). And if my team is winning, its because my carries are good at dodging stuff so they probably don't need the handicap space of a few extra shields.

If we're losing... shields are not going to do anything (especially since close to half of them won't actually block anything assuming carries can side step... if they can't, then no amount of shields is going to save their overall bad mechanics). Healing is at least reliable and consistent.

yes but what Im saying is more MS = easier to chase champs down

It's a good thing that Executioner is so expensive too, at the high price of T2 boots. Meanwhile shields can't be countered at all besides "Don't engage" or "Nuke harder".

lulu can really dumpster assassins and bruisers... poly/speedboost slow knock up shield, what more does she need to counter dive?

Lulu's shield has never given a speed boost... You're thinking of Whimsy, the other half of Polymorph. Shield lends her passive on-hit steroid to you. If Lulu's built Ardent Cancer, then yes, you get an attack speed boost with the shield.

I mean, we are in a meta where you either kill lane or do absolutely nothing in lane.

Lulu can't kill lane, so you're expecting a bit too much right now.

Your opinion could be limited to your experience or inexperience with Lulu's. As of right now Lulu is a weaker support do to kill lanes, but she does have strengths that others don't, she punishes aggression really well when piloted correctly, with an even more skilled duo you can be aggressive and she punishes them when the enemy tries counter aggression. In short she's good if you do small trades and out value the enemy and very good as a deterrent to dives and aggression.

Ofc she doesn't lock down champions as well as others so when you play with a Lulu your strategy should be 100% in because the enemy can just simple full disengage.

Lulu has 6 abilites so she can be hit or miss depending on who plays but she does have clear strengths you should probably learn to work with instead of focusing on what parts don't work for your play style

Apparently you've never been a very fed carry trying to kill enemy backline with lulu polymorphing you and shielding, and ulting her carry that knocks you up then exhausts you after the 2 second polymorph ends.
