...revive on Reksai or Shen?

Historically, revive has been competitively used on exactly two champions ever. Eve and Karthus. And the Eve trick wouldn't really work anymore.

It works on Karthus when combined with teleport, since Karthus would often die at the beginning of the fight, and then could revive and teleport back before the fight was finished. In addition, he could ult as soon as he revived, in order to get the most use out of his passive and keep spamming q's instead of pausing to ult.

But maybe the concept is similar for Shen or Rek'sai, who have a global ult? This will let them come back into the fight before it is over, provided they don't die after the rest of their team. In lane, revive is a burden. But, maybe at least on jungle Reksai, you could use revive instead of flash, since she isn't super reliant on flash. Rek'sai could cause a lot of havoc in her first life, and then revive and come to clean up the fight in her 2nd.

Thoughts?

People generally stay away from things that only benefit you if you die.

and i mean die die, not like a GA revive that doesn't count against your deaths.

Eh. Revive still requires you to have died to begin with, so other summoner spells are taken more. As Rek'Sai I could maybe see it happening (she's a rather mobile bruiser and her ult is low cooldown), but for Shen I can't really see it (since there's a high chance he's going to have already ulted before dying).

It's solo queue, time to accept that you die. Sounds like it could be viable.
