League could use a Micro system like Dota's
Now I know most of you don't like Dota, but hear me out.
There would be a handful of differences between this and the current game.
- When you select a unit, their stats, abilities, and items are shown instead of yours until you deselect them. If they're an Ally, their CD's are also shown. This would enable this system of micro, but also helps newer players know what their opponent does by reading their abilities in lane.
- If you have a DC'd ally, you can click on them to control them fully.
- You can set control groups.
- Most summoned units can be directly controlled.
The current micro system kind of sucks, and limits us from having a true minion-mancer champion.
Kinda makes the current system work, but
Doesn't really count, since his "units" are more like extensions of himself.
Would have lots more skill involved, since her spiders could be micro'd to do things other than clump on top of her, maybe blocking a skillshot.
isn't a summon champion, but if he gets reworked, he definitely SHOULD be a summon champion. Crows are awesome.
would absolutely love being able to tap a "control all other units" key to prioritize his turret aggro. Also, he could toggle his turret lazer's auto-cast on or off, allowing him to aim it himself if he wants.
could get a minor update with her tentacles; procing a tentacle slam will swing if you have autocast on. Otherwise, it primes the tentacles for 2 seconds so you can aim the swing yourself. Brings some more skill to the champion.
would absolutely LOVE if Daisy's AI was just completely removed in favor of 100% manual control.
isn't a summon champion, but this system would enable Lamb and Wolf to hunt alongside one another if they received an update.
see Elise.
see Ivern.
doesn't need to control his ghouls; them being uncontrollable is central to his design. That said, being able to click on them to see their abilities would be cool.
being able to manually manipulate plant aggro would be awesome.
who would absolutely love if he could use faux versions of his spells on the clone.
was straightforward, and he was also bad, both in terms of viability and design quality.
