Im terrible with math. I prob learned how to do this but i then again, I prob also forgot. So could someone explain to me, if my Q is 10 second cooldown level 1 and I had 10% cooldown reduction, how much does it turn up so on and so forth?

The easiest way to do it is: Take the base cooldown of your ability and multiply it by (1.0 minus your cooldown reduction in decimal form.)

If you had 20% CDR and a 300 second ability, that means your formula would look like this:

300 seconds x 0.80 (1.00 minus 0.20 is 0.80) = 240 seconds

A lengthier way to do it would be to multiply your base value by your cooldown reduction and then subtract that number from your base value. That means your formula would look like this:

300 seconds (base cooldown of your ability) x 0.20 (20% CDR) = 60 seconds 300 seconds - 60 seconds = 240 seconds

Hopefully that was a clear enough explanation, math is my worst subject and I'm awful at trying to explain it lol

Edit: And for quick maths you can always do something like this:

If you have 10% CDR with a 90 second ability, just remove the zero. 10 percent of 90 is 9, meaning you would be left with an 81 second ability. Then, you can just multiply this a few times if you have to.

So if you have 20% CDR, do 9 + 9 (which is basically 10% + 10%) and you'll get 18, which is 20% of 90, leaving you with a 72 second ability.

the other guy's explanation is sooooooooooooooooooo bad.

10% cdr= 10 sec * .1 = 1 sec.

20% cdr= 10 sec * .2 = 2 sec.

30% cdr= 10 sec * .3 = 3 sec.

40% cdr = 10 sec * .4 = 4 sec.

best not forget the rare 45%

So if i had 300 seconds and 40% cooldown, how much would that be? 40 seconds?

You can easily calculate the cooldown of an ability using a calculator. You should have on on your computer or you can just use google calculator.

Percentages are basically decimal values of something.

1% of something is that same as 0.01 of that thing. 10% of something is the same as 0.1 of that thing. 100% of something is the same as 1.0 of that thing or the whole thing if you will.

To get the exact decimal value of a thing just use the following formula.

Thing*Decimal

So, if you have 40% CDR and you want to know how much you have to wait to use an ability that normally has a 12 second cooldown, for instance. The formula would be.

12*0.4

You reduce the cooldown... by a percentage. So you should not be looking at a 10% reduction, you're looking at 90% recharge time. (100% - your given percentage).

90% of 10 seconds are 9 seconds. It goes down to 60%/55% with runes. So with 40% CDR ( --> 60% recharge multiplier) you're looking at a 6 seconds cooldown, or 5.5 seconds with that rune.
