Does Red/Blue Side Determine MMR?
While I'm not the best ranked player in the game whenever we get into champ select I get the "oh shit we got blue side that means we lost since Red always has the higher MMR!" Is this true or just a lie?

Red team has a very slightly higher average MMR to make up for side imbalances.
Sides are random.
it used to be the favored team (higher elo/mmr) would be blue team, and the underdogs purple/red side, but now its been changed to 50/50 regardless.
