Why not have IP sales?(RIOT See This Post Please?)

One thing that is an issue in ranked is the lack of depth at certain positions in Ranked. So why not have a champion sale for IP as well as RP? While it might be easier than before to get expensive champions around the 4800 to 6300 range, it is still difficult if one is looking to expand their champion pool quickly, and that forces people to use money on champions that they might not even be good at? Riot could you please do this? I'm at level 30 and in ranked but am having difficulty in champ select due to many of my champions being banned or counterpicked. Rito Pls.

It's a free game, and the amount of time you invest in the game dictates how much free stuff you get.

You need to own at least 16 champions before you play ranked. Mathematically that's 3 per role, or two per role if 6 of them are banned. If you're complaining about not being able to have a super amount of champions in blind pick right when you hit 30, that's the point. Either you can play the game and use time to get your free things, OR you can take riot's alternative if time is not your thing and pay a little for some of them. However their business model is very fair.

It's a free game. We're lucky they even choose to make RP sales. You do not need money to be good at this game at all, you just need time.

It would hurt their bottom line (at least, I think they think so). We need their profits to be healthy so they can run the servers.

I wish this would happen, at least for the 6300s. Make ONE champ on sale for a week at a lower IP price. I'm not asking for the 50% off that RP sales get. But, while I love the game, it's taken over a year for me to collect the large champion pool I have, and I can't constantly play for more IP.

Too bad they won't do it because it's all about TEH MONEH

Because the point of a sale is to increase the number of people who buy your product.

IP sales don't even count as a sale.
