Picks for Climbing

Hey everyone! I'm getting back into league after a bit of a hiatus (thanks college finals) and as someone who queues Mid/Adc, I've somewhat changed my champion pool and am looking for advice on such. Mid: Previously, I played Zed/Yasuo/Anivia most of the time. I'm now leaning towards champions that have are more accessible (finally want to get out of Bronze and this seems like a good idea). I had started to really like Annie before her 6.9 changes, but am not quite so fond now. I liked the easy farming, the point-and-click 1.75 second stun, and the delete button. Any other options to look at? Note- I am not abandoning Zed/Yasuo/Anivia, just saving them for having fun in normals. I'm looking for someone that I won't have to invest 200+ games in to climb with effectively. Adc: I played mostly Lucian/Vayne before, but got started on Ashe recently. Finally learned how to kite well with Ashe and her cc really helps in a lot of scenarios, but she seems to have a lot of trouble (in my very limited experience) with Caitlyn/Jhin. Would one of these be a good pick for Adc? Gold is my end-of-season goal! Thanks!

honestly any champion you have put 200+ games in you will be able to play with more effectively than any "strong" champion. Unless you are giving up on playing those champions and want to learn someone new you are best of just continuing to practice with the ones you already know.

My advice for getting better with the champions you already know is to play them differently so you can understand them better. For instance with anivia. If you normally build tanky play a bunch of games as glass cannon so you get a feel for when going glass cannon is a viable option and when you need the extra defenses.
