@Riot Why Is J4 the only tank in the entire game who builds nothing but damage?

I've made this argument before and I'm going to keep on making it until I get a response from Riot about it.

Jarvan is NOT an assassin. Nothing about his lore says that he is, nothing about his theming says that he is, I mean, come the fuck on, he wear's ostentatiously coloured, incredibly impractical body armor and carries a massive "fuck-off" phallus he uses to poke people with. That is not an assassin.

He doesn't PLAY like an assassin either. He plays like an initiator. Like a slightly more selfish Leona. He wants to get right up to the enemy and do a bunch of damage to them and hold them down long enough for his team to follow up. That's what his ult is meant to do. It's not meant to goomba stomp the squishiest enemy on the team and then get left behind to cover his retreat when he flashes away.

But that's HOW EVERYONE FUCKING PLAYS HIM! And do you know why? Because he's the only tank who has fucking 0 reason to build like one. Fucking Yi gets better scaling off defensive stats and items than Jarvan does, so the hell should anyone build him like a tank?

Do you want to know the single best way to play Jarvan at the moment? It's to play him as a support with a Kalista, Build a sightstone and then go full AD from there. Guaranteed free wins in anything bellow plat as long as your Kalista isn't literally downs.

That is not Jarvan and you fucking know it.

I could give you a billion ways you could fix him without a rework which he doesn't need, but I want someone at Riot to admit that Jarvan is a fucking mess.
