How is PBE 'random' but the same people are always on it? Particularly streamers?

Just curious how the same people are continually 'randomly' selected . . ..

Lol saying this is like saying. you dont see any non_streamers on pbe because they dont stream it.

Theres quite a few who arent well known or streamers

That's not what I was saying. I was referencing:

"How does it work?

Periodically, we’ll invite a small group of tester applicants (selected based on a variety of criteria) to test out upcoming features and content for a specific PBE cycle. Invited testers then get to create a PBE account, download the PBE client and play. For the time that testers have PBE access, they’ll be able to test and provide feedback on upcoming champions, features and other content in order to help make sure it’s ready for release.

After each PBE cycle ends, testers will be returned to the pool of applicants, from which we'll draw a fresh group of testers for the following cycle. We do this to ensure we're choosing the right testers for the right features as well as to increase the number of voices that influence the direction of League of Legends."

Which suggests that after a PBE cycle, you wouldn't be in PBE any longer. Obviously I only see streamers on PBE because I'm not on PBE and that's the only access I would have. I thought people were removed from testing so I thought it was peculiar that some people weren't. Didn't know no one was.

No, I'm on PBE, and you keep your account for as long as your active on PBE. (Im not a streamer, I'm not even well known..)

People really do give their word on the PBE forums. Weather riot listens is another story.. xD Ahaha.

PBE has limited space, but many testers at some point but like in live League, there are some toxic people who come on PBE and they end up getting punished by losing PBE #privileges...

Getting on PBE is also affected by your behavior on live. Like if you've been banned you may lose your chance to get on PBE.

Then when a lot of people lose their PBE and riot notices theirs a lot of space, they open up the signups again.. and the process continues..

I'm just guessing at what I think I know...

I also know I could perhaps lose my PBE at any time with or without my consent or a reason...

Because it's not a cycling thing. Once you're in, you're in until you don't play it often enough, and they rarely need new people.

I see. I misunderstood:

It seemed like eventually the 'testers' would be returned to the pool of applicants--but I guess that doesn't happen.

That explains why a friend told me her friend was in PBE.

"(selected based on a variety of criteria)"

streamers prob fit a criteria

It's because they don't purge the PBE list every cycle. Once you're invited you can play from then on, unless you get banned from it or they decide to do a purge (idk if they'll ever do that).

Thanks. I misunderstood:

Figured you were in to test one feature then returned to the pool of applicants. Didn't figure no one was returned to the pool.

I waited almost three years to get access... just takes some time.

Yeah. I can see that. Apparently, the limited spaces available are rarely purged.
