[6.10] Current Lowest Win-Rate Champions in Every Role
Special Mention:
- Taliyah is currently sitting at a ridiculously low 39.26% win rate at the moment. Part of that is because people just don't know where to play her. She is struggling and failing to find her niche. Quite honestly, she is actually the most underpowered champion in EVERY role, but that would make for a very short list. Most of all, the reason she has such a low win rate is that her kit outputs very low and inconsistent damage. The sheer difficulty of landing her W makes for huge windows of time during which she is completely helpless with practically no damage output. Her inherent weakness far overshadows the utility her kit provides. Until Riot straight up gives her some very large buffs and quality of life changes, its pretty safe to say that she'll continue to feature in the list as one of, if not the most underpowered of champions in League of Legends.
Jungle:
- Xin Zhao is currently sitting at a 46.57% win rate at the moment, the lowest of all the junglers. He was also the most underpowered jungler in patch 6.9 with a 43.91% win rate. In patch 6.3, he actually had a 54% win rate, but has since been hit by the nerf hammer multiple successive times, both directly and indirectly. Immediately after Riot added a mini-crit on every third hit of his W, they removed 20% of his bonus Attack Speed. They also removed 30% from the AP ratio on his healing. They also removed the crit-ineraction and 30% bonus attack speed on Warlord's Bloodlust. The final nail in Xin Zhao's coffin was when they replaced Devourer with the far inferior Bloodrazor and gutted Guinsoo's Rageblade stat-wise and cost-wise. All these nerfs combined completely gutted Xin Zhao, who is quite linear and item-dependent, making him the literal worst jungler in the game. He is definitely in need of a rather large buff to offset the utter gutting he received this season.
Top:
- Illaoi is currently sitting at a 45.42% win rate at the moment, the second lowest of all the top laners, second only to Taliyah. Illaoi gathered quite the reputation for 1v5-ing entire enemy teams back when she was released. She had absurdly high AD ratios and her healing against multiple enemies were off the charts. For a while, people were actually calling her super-OP. Until finally, people started learning how to play against her and abuse her inherent weaknesses such as her serious lack of mobility, her lackluster laning phase, and her lack of hard cc and utility. There were simply far better champions for everything Illaoi could do. There are far tankier champions if you needed a top-lane tank. There are champions that deal far more damage than her while also being far more mobile. Illaoi's been outclassed by every other top laner for quite a few patches now, and with the upcoming changes to being neither true buffs or nerfs, she'll probably still be fairly underpowered for a while.
Mid:
- Syndra is currently sitting at a 46.8% win rate at the moment, the third lowest of all the midlaners. She outclasses only Taliyah (who's the most underpowered champion in the game) and Corki (who is played primary as an ADC, not a midlaner). Syndra has actually been consistently sitting at around the 45-46% win rate for quite a few patches now. It has a lot to do with her match-ups in the midlane, really. Quite a lot of popular midlane champions win against her in a 1v1. She is also an immobile mage and thus, is vulnerable to ganks and assassins in general. Her kit is difficult to master, and like Taliyah, it can have inconsistent damage. Her burst is actually quite solid if you manage to build her properly and land her skills, but the difficulty of playing her plus the popularity of her counters definitely leads to her low win rate. She likely doesn't need buffs the same way Taliyah, and Xin Zhao do, but maybe a few quality of life changes will help bring her win rate up.
Support:
- Tahm Kench is currently sitting at a 43.42% win rate at the moment. Again, second only to Taliyah. The increasing amounts of %health damage available to popular champions like Kindred, Vayne, etc. take their toll on him quite a lot. Tahm Kench could be played like a hard core tank, but since he's played as support, he doesn't really get enough gold to build the resistance items he needs to become the enormous front-line tank he could be. As a support, Tahm Kench's kit gives him a great disengage and decent poke as well, but it doesn't really do Tahm any good when engaging and counter-engaging. Specifically, hook champions like Thresh and Blitzcrank, as well as stun champions like Leona and Braum can do decently in peeling for their carries, but they get about as tanky as Tahm Kench with the same amount of gold and they far outclass Tahm Kench when it comes to engaging and getting their carries the kills they need. Tahm Kench needs a big buff to bring him up to par with the rest of the supports.
ADC:
- Corki is currently sitting at a 42.05% win rate at the moment, the lowest of all ADC's. In Patch 6.5, Corki was actually in a pretty decent spot and had even gotten some play in the LCS. In the next patch though, his auto-attack damage ratio was nerfed by 10%. Not a huge nerf going by the numbers, but considering that his higher than average auto-attack damage was the entire reason he could keep up with other ADC's and win his lane, Corki has since that nerf been steadily dropping down the ADC ladder. His nerf, coupled with the popularity of champions like Lucian, Ezreal, etc. who could do the same amount of damage as Corki but be far more mobile at the same time meant that Corki is more often than not, outmatched in the bot lane. Corki absolutely needs to get the nerf to his auto-attack damage reverted.
