I swear somethings wrong with matchmaking

last time, people told "oh you just play on and off tilt alot" "you're matched with people by your mmr, thats how it works" "they are just as good as you are"

HELLLL NO http://puu.sh/eut95/68f390a2e7.jpg and thats not all the losses either there were plenty more below that and even more Yep, that is a crap ton of losses and that 1 win most recently

I'm pretty sure Riot is screwing me over by match me against people way too good or with people who are way too bad and games are **always **a 1 way slaughter, yes most of those games were ff20s as well I can feel it now, Riot system noticed how much I was losing and finally decided to pair me up against people so far below me.. srsly 10/0 and I built NO DAMAGE, we had NO SUPPORT, their support had NO SIGHT STONE like wtf, this is **not **how I want my games to go why is mmr so fuqing sporadic.. I don't even wanna play ranked games due to its random ass nature

here we go guys.. its happening all over again http://puu.sh/exGQj/9935270729.jpg

So you purposefully threw two games and are complaining about your loss rate?

Leti the Yeti1 votes

I did not throw games.. 4 deaths against their fed master yi and fed le blanc is obscenely good

the 6 tear build has no impact on the game I usually start building this as soon as I see them working on our nexus towers and about to take the nexus as well

I get the feeling you are trolling me Is there something wrong with what I did in the last 4 seconds of the game? would we have magically won if i kept the sightstone?

YES YOU FUCKING WOULD HAVE! XD Sightstone secret passive: You win no matter what.

From a psychologist standpoint, yes, yes you are going on tilt.

If you lose a second match in a row, step away from the computer, take a shower, or read for 30 min, do 15 min of exercise, watch TV - anything to break away from League and shift your focus. THEN come back and play. There are psychological theories behind losing streaks - you lose one, you're mentally going to slowly start to contribute to losing more.

That said - you are being part of the problem by going to a troll build at the first sign of losing. If you foresee a FF@20, just play normally, regardless. Don't be "that guy" and further contribute to your team's loss - you might just come back.

I think too many people are misunderstanding im not troll building at the first sign of losing I'm troll building as I see the nexus going down

I dont leave fountain either, dont worry I can always undo and buy back the 6 tears are just something to poke at during the aftergame chat

I still find it hard to believe it's tilt, its a term as mythical as elo hell to me

I think his point he is trying to make is if you regard the game as a lost even at the end you will carry that negativity to your next game. Instead of sitting there buying items you should look on what you could have done before they took your nexus. Take that knowledge to your next game instead of being negative.

I have a friend that does the same thing and here is an example of what he does. We can be 20-0 but we got ace'd by bad positioning and then he goes on a GG rant its game over there coming back like he gave up which is vary annoying.

He says he will always keep trying no matter what, but to bring that type of negativity can bring down a team to flame each other and cause more problems. Which causes him to lose more games in the long run and blames others when the idea of losing is in his mind, like how you are knowing to purchase troll items instead of taking a positive step forward you take a negative step back.

People think emotions may not have any control over the game, but negative thoughts brings a sort of fatigue that changes the way you play from just a simple miss click.

So visually seeing 6 tear build is actually hurting people and yourself even it really had no effect to that game and that negativity could be carried to 5 additional games after thanks to you. Just remember people are weak minded, selfish and set in there ways. Best thing to do in life is ignore them and do what would be right for others. Unless you want to make money then you live on other people's misery.

LOL im kind of in the same boat as you are but i dont go on losing streaks as much as you do.. im silver 5 and whenever i play ranked i would always notice that the enemy would have silver 3 - gold 2/3 players while my team would be consisted of bronze 2 - silver 1 maybe gold 5 if im lucky.. on normals hell i get matched with gold 3 - plat 1 maybe diamond 5 players all the time.. hence of course i'd lose lane, feed and then lose the game or sometimes do really bad but ends up getting carried.. rofl.. so i understand how disappointed you are with the match making system.. but just think of it this way.. if your getting matched up against people that are better than you then take it as a learning experience.. for example i play mid lane on a normal game and im laning against a plat what i do is i accept that im gonna lose lane so what i do is i play passive but goes aggro whenever i feel its safe to be aggro and then basically watch how my enemy lanes against me.. and observe what he does and ask myself why did he do that? and if i find out why he did such thing then hey i just learned a strategy on mid lane even the little things that your enemy does ask yourself why did he do that? why did my enemy went in to kill me when i used this skill to cs and while it was on cooldown? ask yourself stuff like that.. and then apply what you've learned next game that way one day you'll reach a point where you now know so much about the game that you carry yourself to winning games.. this is also why i find recording my games helpful coz i get to rewatch the game i had and see for myself what i did wrong and how my enemy punished / capitalized on that mistake..

I can't really respond honestly in a way that does not come off as arrogant or garner hatred in some way buuuuuuuut.... Its not much of a learning experience for me cuz I'm out in the jungle My interaction with the enemy team is(for most of the game) a couple seconds every now and then at most and once lane phase is over and theyre 13/2/17, they are beating us not with superior skill but superior items Its not like the enemy is counter jungling me hard, cuz that would atleast give me something to learn

I'm only saying I get matched up with people better than me basing on 2 really big assumptions

  • mmr actually works
  • enemy laner DESTROYS my laners who are assumed to be about as good as I am
o Majesty o1 votes

well if your a jungle main and your laner is getting destroyed ask yourself what can you do to help that struggling laner? also you need to know which lane to help snowball so they can carry.. sometimes one gank from the jungler can make or brake a lane.. if your the type of jungler that likes to farm alot then you should still be looking at the minimap the entire time and check out on how your laners are doing and also how about help your lanes out by warding for them? that way if they get ganked and your not there you can say i warded for you if you didnt see the enemy jungler coming in for a gank then thats your fault.. stuff like that.. im not dissing you nor tryna to get into an arguement with you all im trying to do is help and say that if your going on losing streaks like that then there might be something wrong with what your doing.. you cant just blame mmr / other people all the time.. coz you can always have done something to win a game rather than just blame mmr or your laners who keep losing their lanes.. as a jungler your job is to secure jungle objectives but at the same time help your laners and exert map pressure / prescence even in the jungle.. if you know your laner wants to go back to base you can either hold the lane for him / her so that the minions dont jst die to a turret and you guys lose the experience and gold from them.. or if your laner thats losing lane has decent HP, mana and enemy flash is down.. then gank his / her lane coz most of the time the enemy would be over extending especially if your laner is getting zoned out of the minion wave.. and that gank should be successful.. after you kill the enemy laner then ask your laner to help you push out the lanes and shove it to the turret that way you can make the enemy laner lose experience and gold from the turret or you can force the enemy jungler to stop farming or cancel a gank becoz now they gotta hold a lane.. stuff like that..

It's hard to take that screenshot seriously. I'm pretty sure you're matched up right where you're supposed to be.

I agree with it's random ass nature. The cause of this is usually mistakes in item builds, it's really common in silver. So all you need to do is to find out what are the common mistakes in the teams that you get and how you can aid your team to overcome those mistakes with building items for yourself on a certain champion that it's good on.

For example:

You lose often because of the lack of penetration? Play Wukong jungle and buy a Black Cleaver or go top, play Kayle and get a Runaan's Hurricane with Wit's End. Or play a carry yourself and buy a Last Whisper/Void Staff.

Another one:

Is it often because of vision? Play Lee Sin jungle and buy a Sightstone. Or just play support. Or upgrade your trinket.

And so on. There are multiple mistakes that are common at Silver league and if you 'patch' one of them while playing good you're certainly going to climb.
