One of the most important stats in the game, and we can't see it, why?

Money, Gold, specifically team gold and that of your opponents. Why do I consider it the most important stats? Well, because it's almost always the team with the gold advantage (except when it's really late into the game and both teams are full built or one team scales much better than the other) than wins. I think there are several advantages to adding this statistic.

  1. It puts a number on how far ahead someone is. A REAL number you can see for yourself and give you (or more likely your teammates) pause. Fiora, a late game scaling champion, is 5k ahead of anyone else in the game. What does that mean? it's means when you see Fiora, run. She's like an agent in the Matrix, you can't kill her and you're not Neo. Run.

  2. It helps to stop the "never surrender culture". If you're in game with a malphite, an orianna and you've had a bad laning phase, you've lost a number of turrets, you may be under the delusion that, "Hey, if we just do everything perfectly, land the ult on the carries, and then focus the tanks we still have a shot at coming back" so you waste another 10 mins trying to get that perfect teamfight combo and lose even when you meet your "win condition". If you'd know you're 15k behind the enemy team there's a good chance you'd understand the game is almost certainly over.

  3. Gold is Gold. Whether it's kills, csing or objectives gold is gold and i think it's important to realize this and emphasis this in the game. Yes you killed your opponent twice with some jungle help but his csing is much better than yours despite the camp, you've spent too much time harassing over last hitting and he actually has a gold advantage over you now coming into mid -late game.

  4. Better decision making overall -"But we have cs, you can count towers gone, you know the cost of items you can estimate even calculate how ahead another team is if you want, why introduce this?" Why have graphs and not just the raw data then? The number gives a quick summary of how far ahead a team is and I think that's important in determining how you should play.

God no. It's bad enough with the kill score. I'd rather have more "never surrender" culture than "omfg gg ff20 we're 2k gold down" culture.

This isn't the LCS.
