Buff the weak more instead of nerfing the "strong"

Almost every patch seems to target pro-play. And I get it riot, pros have mastered the champions, they are a true representation of the champions strengths and weakness and that is the gold standard for checking for balance in the game, ..... except it's not unless the game is to be balanced for 0.0000001% of players who happen to be talking to each other in the same room.

Let's take a look at a few of the champions riot has gut. Azir, 42% winrate, mid 40's even for those who main him and we have leblanc and ryze, low winrates overall but fairly decent reasonable winrates at platinum + , the sort you would expect but now both are getting nerfed heavily because of the competitive scene.

Nerfing champions that are over performing at higher elo makes perfect sense. Those at high elo have mastered the champion and it's a good representation of what they can do. Nerfing them because of competitive and LCS doesn't. SoloQ Ryze=/= TSM realm warping from inhib turret to baron to elder to the enemy nexus to end the game. and as long as the champion is late game scaling hypercarry with high DPS and a team wide teleport it's always going to be banned- unless you make it virtually unplayable because this type of communication doesn't exist in SoloQ.

Give us reasons to play the champions we don't see often instead of just nerfing those we see too frequently. Give Lissandra a little buff, we've almost forgotten she exists. ( just an example I don't play her btw it's just obvious champs like her and others don't get picked up as much or often)

i hate it too but its a lot easier to nerf 1-10 champions than to buff over a 100. id prefer to see more smaller buffs every patch though, but even in those cases, its not that those champs were weak, its that a lot of them were on a "tipping point" to be "meta" and the small buff champs are now more favored than nerfed champs. theres been too many cases where riot did a seemingly random small buff and then the champ became very meta so i think, rightfully so, they only buff the absolute worst of the worst these days. because even azir, despite supposedly not being meta for a while, and having the lowest winrate for even longer at this very moment, hes still able to be picked, and he has been picked in pro games

Buffing the "weak" is how you get next patches permabanned champion. It's happened time and time again since I started playing: some "weak" champ gets buffs slowly over time or a bunch all at once, and then suddenly that champ is mega OP. Tristana season 4, anyone? Mundo pre-season 6? Varus now (admittedly just nerfed)?
