If you're going to leave autofill, at least Improve on it, here's how.

Personally I think autofill is unnecessary for lower elos because the wait time is already pretty short. This complaint has been voice pretty loudly and while it doesn't seem like Riot has listened to it there are ways to FIX autofill. Change it so can either, A: Order your preferred of roles, (Mid, top, supp, Jungle, Bot ) OR B: Exclude a role I lean towards A, mainly I'm suggesting a slight tweak. You Queue up for say (mid/top) and add an autofill section where you list the order of the preferences ( support, jungle, bot).
My reasons for saying this is, 1)Not everyone has the rune pages set up to handle every role you throw them into. 2)Even if someone may have high MMR when placed in an off role there is a good chance they'll play substantially worse. The game feels less about which team is overall better, and more like which team has the worse autofill mismatch. Jungler auto-filled into support, not the worst... support auto-filled to jungle, might be a lot worse. 3)It would make a much more fair and balanced game with less excuses/reasons to tilt. "Yes I got autofill but at least i don't have to play adc in 2017" 4) I understand Riot, Queue times are terribly long (5 mins instead of 3 mins), but players are unsatisfied with being placed into their worst or least preferred role. This strikes a balanced.
