Why doesn't riot ever give us any updates on game issues?

Believe me they have PLENTY of staff to assign to fix this issue, but why can they just not have 1 tech or engineer sit down, and give us a response?

What happened: What they are doing to fix this: ETA on fix:

or something similar to that format...all that ever happens is Riots game breaks completely, forums flood with "WTF IS HAPPENING RITO" x60

Then the game randomly starts working hours later and everyone goes quiet. as a techie, it interests me greatly as to what caused these errors and whats being done, it's also a great way for Riot to reach out to the community to calm the storm and re-assure. please consider rioters :)

P.S. I would also love it if you would explain in the tool tips why you disabled champions/abilities

I know with Riven, the bug was that if you used the Hydra active on her second Q, it would reset her Q entirely. Meaning, she would be able to get off 6 dashes ridiculously fast and at no cooldown.

Corki, I have no idea what happened. I would like to hear what the bug is.
