Riot can you please stop nerfing everything?

The way Riot has been balancing the game recently is just like a game of Wack-A-Mole. Anything deemed too strong by them will automatically receive a nerf.

Talk about bringing balance to the jungle and creating strategic diversity but the clears and jungle item costs are making junglers poorer than ever. There are only a handful that can effectively clear the new jungle properly. Increasing the cost of the smite upgrades is horrible. If you successfully pull of a level 1 invade or early gank (even though in the vast majority of games that never happens) you SHOULD get an advantage. But now a lot of junglers have to back before they can afford the smite upgrade putting them at a huge handicap.

Back in season 4 every popular jungler was nerfed in order to try and achieve more "balance." Evelynn is still unplayable and the jungle was made weaker overall. Assassins get slapped in the face with a removal of DFG and various individual nerfs, which will only lead to safe push mages being popular and then Riot will inevitably nerf those. Generally every time a champion becomes strong in the meta you can expect to see nerfs. Horrible balance philosophy

Funny thing is, almost everyone in the community either is telling Riot to nerf things, or is telling Riot that they shouldn't nerf things.

Riot's answer to everything is scale down, scale down, scale down. Why can't they try something like creating more items that add depth to the game and keep champion's stats the way they are? There's always going to be a best and nerfing everything to the ground only brings out the next "OP" champion. Why can't someone be rewarded for good gameplay? When someone gets ahead, they're ahead. They may kill you easily even if you play properly. Why? Because the game is scaled down. Now no one does anything damage wise without items and counterplay is minimal. The game focuses on Defensive or passive play which makes the game stale. Riot tries to fix this by adding "aggressive" champions and as a result comes the brief assassin's meta. Honestly, Riot could've probably just buffed every champion in the game and everything would be more interesting. At least the kill potential for every champion would be there.
