About Refusal To Surrender

I think Riot should modify surrender rules alongside their new (inefective) leaver punishment system.

Im sick of being stuck in lost games because one person on my team has 3 kills and thinks he can carry a 4/28 game, and another person on the team refuses to surrender because he wants to keep bitching with his support. Not to mention the 4v5s where your team is already 15k behind, facing a 7/1 vayne, and free farming Nasus. Fuck your "there's always a chance" stupidity, there isnt always a chance, and miracles dont happen.

I hate the gung-ho "never surrender" BS. It may be fine to waste your time on lost games when your life involves nothing but video games and eating cup-noodles in your mom's basement, but some people only get a couple hours to play games a day, or maybe a week. I dont want to be forced to waste my time losing for another 10-15 minutes when I could be in a game I have a chance of winning, or just ending my game session entirely.

Surrender votes should take other factors into account. If its 4v5, and 2 people want to surrender, it should be over. Period. I dont care if some of the games people surrender might have been won. When 3 people want out of the game, why does the minority get to dictate? 3 people want to do something else, two people dont, because they are too busy bitching at eachother, 8 people get to be stuck in a pointless exercise.

Im convinced that this is a large factor contributing to hostility in games. If you're doing nothing but feeding and blaming the jung for not helping, I dont want to play a game with you, if its ranked, I dont want you to win.

Change the surrender system, help the overall community.
