When I realized this game is not balanced

So I got cheesed by a level 1 wukong. E, aa, E, aa, ignite > First blood.

i totally got cheesed and deserved it but i was about 1 aa away from killing him. I took TP instead of ignite so poop on me i guess. This advantage for wukong made my lane difficult, but we won the game through teamwork.

This was a norm game but still kinda pissed me off that he could cheese so quickly with wukong at level 1. So my next game I am playing gangplank vs a trundle top. I pull some cheese of my own and get a passive & Q twice before minions even get to lane. This leaves trundle at ~50% hp.

he proceeds to walk right up to me at 50% HP at level 1, amongst minions, and just AA + Q me to death. 100-0 me with a Q and about 4-5 auto attacks. MEanwhile I was spamming Q and aa's of my own, attacking him among my minions. We both had/casted corrupting potion fyi.

He still 100-0 me with aa's while he was at 50% HP, WITHOUT ignite at level 1. That's when I realized this game is decided by champ select and as such is really garbage as a strategic game. Champs win by virtue of their stats and there is not outplay potential unless you're playing the most recent FotM champs or a recently reworked champ (see: Poppy Fiora Quinn Darius Graves ).

only way to rank up nowadays is pick the newest piece of shit OP champ or get outclassed bc you'll see the enemy team will pick Fiora Udyr if you didn't.

League is a joke now based on champions' inherent power.

I would agree with that "League isn't balanced" as a general statement, like look at Galio for example, but in BOTH of those case you deserved it. Not just the first one.

I never have had the impression that champions were balanced around their ability to 1v1 at level 1. In fact, I'm wondering why you think they are balanced that way?

There's nothing pressuring you into having to fight at level 1. Wukong shouldn't be able to force you to fight to be able to cs in lane while you're level 1, so his power level at level 1 shouldn't really be anything that could possibly lead to him being OP.
