Some advice I like to go by.
not a rant about ADCs, there are lots of dope ADCs out there Just some advice I play support a lot, mostly Jungle, but support secondly. Its hard putting up with ADC's sometimes. The narcissist ones that is. Ive had some dope af Jhins and Sivirs in my day. If you're in ranked and you play a lot of support, mute the ADC the first time either of you die (if you die). Most ADC's immediately say something to me like "no peel" even though im Morgana mostly.... -_-
Muting BEFORE shit gets said that shouldnt be heard is WAAAY more helpful, cause yah, you can wait until he says something really nasty, but then that ONE phrase might stick in your head and tilt you, may even tempt you to unmute and throw down. Some people have a problem like that cough like me cough.
Its easy to see if someone is about the be a lane rager, just chat em up and see how they are. If they seem 12-ish mute em, if not, play it out. This can go for any lane really. I cant tell you how many high elo players just glimpse at something someone types in the chat window and immediately mutes them even though it wasn't too bad. When anyone publicly shows excess frustration towards anyone be it another teammate or enemy player, its a sign its gonna leak over into your game possibly. To prevent even one negative though from affecting them, they mute before they see something that might silently, but softly tilt them. You just gotta watch people and know the signs of a player expressing any frustration and mute em.
Give it a try in the upcoming season guys. It works a lot and certainly makes the experience of a support (let alone any role) much more relaxing.
PEACE!
