Top laner disconnects at 13 minutes. -20 LP

I understand a lot of people dont like ranked and some people like normals. But this should be an issue that is resolved either way.

4 people are losing LP because of one persons disconnection.

I dont think its smart to increase punishment ( Ban wise ) I think it'd be smarter to make the person who disconnected Absorb 1/4th of everyone on his teams LP when they lose.

Since this can be abuseable i suggest implementing such a system in only Solo/Duo queue that way the disconnects can't really be organized or abused...

Itd be abusable if you were in a 5 man group because you can roto losing LP instead of everyone losing it evenly

Even without allowing groups to abuse it by allowing someone to soak the LP loss, it could create another issue: bully the feeder.

If a player does poorly and is unintentionally feeding, the rest of the team blames the loss on them and could demand that they own up to their mistakes by afk'ing to take a bigger hit to their LP. Think of all the things they could do to try and encourage their teammate to dc once they've decided that the game is over and it is this person's fault from passive-aggressive comments to dragging out a game in an unfun fashion to in-game griefing to clear-cut verbal harassment.

That's reality bub.

Especially since, in the long run, disconnects on your team have zero effect on your MMR. The possibility of 'bully the feeder' is much worse than the current situation of a slight and temporary MMR drop followed by some relatively easier games than you would otherwise have.

Hmmmm. Maybe "bully the feeder" is what is needed. Feeders are the worst form of life on Earth. I'd love this shit if it happens. They should afk. I want them to afk. I don't want to waste 30 minutes of my life playing with such trash. This LP soak idea isn't even needed for me to want this. I fuckin hate feeders. I'd support anything that makes a feeder's life miserable.

For the record, I define a feeder as any player that dies to the same champion under the same circumstances more than 4 times in a 10 minute window. Sounds like a hard criteria to match but truth is every single game has one of these feeding assholes, either on my team or the enemy team. sometimes both. I wish it would stop. No one should be feeding in ranked games.

As of the time of this post, in my last 20 ranked games, I've only fed once, as Leona going 0-10. If even a shit lowly Silver player like me can learn how to not feed anyone can. Vast majority of people feed every other game. Don't play ranked if you can't avoid feeding in half of your games. Play normals where that shit belongs.

You want to bully feeders. If feeders are a problem that means they end up in games with you. For them to end up in games with you then their MMR must be close to your's.

Watch any high level game on Youtube or high level streamers, you'd see feeders there too. They're like mosquitoes, they're everywhere except the LCS. It would have been nice if they were only at my MMR. Are there feeders at your MMR ?
