Were are the good yi players?

I mean really. Every yi I see will stay farming even if your team is ove 20 kills ahead, and in the end its a loss cause it hard to do a 3 vs 5 or 4 vs 5. I mean it feels like any one who plays yi is being lazy and wants you to carry him cause yi has to farm his stacks. I mean does yi get special treatment cause he does best when he has 4 items or more? Its just sucks when your winning and it ends in a loss cause your out a player on your team and you know you can't push by your self unless the whole team is busy.

Yi actually sucks at 4 items.

His power spike is at devourer + cutlass. His 2nd spike is at BoRK + sated. His damage never falls off but his safety falls off immensely. Mid-game, he can delete enemy carries in 4-5 autos while still being very slippery and tanky enough through base stats. Late game, if he built bruiser he can't delete enemy carries in a few autos due to their BT and GA. He can still delete them in 3 seconds (8 autos) but that's a long time to get peel; a single Nautilus or Maokai can peel Yi for that long, while he can't tank ADC crits + base damage on CC spells for 3 seconds. If he built glass, if he gets CC'ed even once he dies in 2 crits.

I get all that, but if he is not effective unless he has all of those things then why are so many playing him? Are they hoping the enemy team lets you go that late into the game? Cause I thought the object is to get those inibs down and end the game fast to move on to the next one. Sorry. Its just nerve racking seeing one of your players rarely help in team fights even when you get far ahead. I don't want to yell at those players that play yi. I just want them work with your team when you get ahead, or have most of the towers down.

the game is not balanced for low elo just like basketball is not balanced for little league.

Its not players, its the champ. Yi is trash tier champion that cant fight anyone until 20+ min mark accounting that your team isnt 20 kills behind at that time.
