Eve probably would have been better off as a Skirmisher

Mechanically: 'Terrible Early Game' and 'Jungle Assassin' are mutually exclusive attributes. However, a Skirmisher having a poor early game while transitioning into a strong mid and even stronger late gate fits just fine.

Lore-wise: Eve doesn't want to kill someone as quickly as possible. She wants to draw out the suffering. That fits the Skirmisher profile better than Assassin. It also doesn't make a great deal of sense that she's doing most of her killing while in her lure form.

Regardless of route, her sustained damage would need to go way up. That might mean the execute damage from her Ult getting the axe or even the return of her OLD old Ult, Malice and Spite. Having her go demon-mode and rip people apart with her claws via Malice and Spite would be amazing.

Agree there. She's absolutely non-functional without her Ult right now and that in and of itself is a huge departure from how Eve is supposed to play. OLD old Eve had a refreshing Ult. Old Eve had an Ult that helped her initiate, but wasn't really a major part of her damage output.

It would be like changing Ezreal's Q into an attack speed steroid in terms of how much it alters gameplay.

Imo, they need to make her ult into a pure execute (IE it does like 25% missing hp damage or something along those lines) and then invest more power into the rest of her kit, tbh if she had fucking mobility she wouldnt be too bad, but she does need some dmg buffs aswell (level 18 eve with full build, 400 dmg on q)
