Why is ARAM drafting Blind??

Last game I just went up against Veigar, Nasus, and Cho'Gath. I could've rerolled instead of sticking with a certain champion that I didn't particularly like after someone didn't swap me. But I didn't think the enemy would have such a strong carrying lineup. Why can't both teams see the enemies' pick? I know they're random, but the opponents are already selected when you're getting your randomed champions...it only makes sense IMHO for it to not be blind. Getting stuck with a lineup you know you can't win with is pretty bad. It doesn't happen very often, but it happens sometimes.

Would lead to even more dodges than there are right now, extending queue times.

I'm not sure how that's possible, there are already a lot of dodges in ARAM games.

ARAM decides who wins by giving one side a "winning comp". The games where you get Aatrox AurelionSol DrMundo Evelynn Galio and your enemy gets Ahri Azir Caitlyn Draven Leona is ARAM saying "team B wins! HUZZAH!"

I understand that, it's just that sometimes you don't know if your composition should have some champions rerolled or if that will make things worse for you. It's not fully blind because you can't get the same champion on both teams, so why be blind at all?
