Why can't I mute pings again?
4 griefers who were aware I muted them are ping spamming me non-stop...I know Riot isn't the smartest but why is this permitted?

you can actually! I do this when I smurf in low elo as well go under sound options and find "pings"
adjective, muter, mutest. 1. silent; refraining from speech or utterance. 2. not emitting or having sound of any kind.
