So i was look around the internet today and i saw a video talking about a rework for yasuo and i think i speak for all yasuo mains here when i said this made me sick to my stomach

First off i want to say yasuo is by far my favorite champion. When i first started playing league i felt like i didnt have an identity i never knew who i was going to play what i was going to pick or even what lane i wanted to be in. When yasuo first came out i thought wow he looks really fun to play. Hes the champion ive been waiting for. I went in game and was confused because i was getting dumpstered every game and i didnt understand. So i put him down for a couple of months until i finally decided to devote time into learning him. I spammed him non stop. I began to in my eyes master a champ and i finally felt some kind of happy just playing a single champ. I always love the possibility of making big plays and risking it all. Outplaying my opponent in a 2v1 capitalizing on there mistakes while still be up close and personal to everyone in the process. I couldnt imagine playing a different yasuo. In my own words i think riot is nerfing the champions that are fun to play because yasuos kit has so much potiental the ones who have mastered him make him an incredibly annoying champion. while those who havent will get dumpstered if you look at yasuos win rate its under 50 percent. Aswell as lee sins. They are high risk high impact champions in my opinion and both have gotten nerfed while yasuo is soon to get another. I know there are plenty of champions out there who are good like syndra viktor etc but the day i go back to being a meta slave and playing these boring wave clear low mobilty mid laners is the day my identity as a league player has been taken the yasuo is me i am the yasuo.... I know ill probably get hate on here because fuck yasuo mains and also this might not even be true..... but idk i thought id say something lets pray it isnt true

This is the natural order of champs that are released with overpowered kits. They nerf and nerf and nerf until they are useless then they rework.

The problem with yasuo is there is no "inbetween" balance strengths that you can add or remove power to.

As you said, he's a champion when mastered, is very rewarding, but when he messes up, he loses badly... thats the flaw in the design, you do not outplay yasuo, he outplays himself, and you just gotta hope he fucks up inorder to capitilize on his mistakes. Its not about capitilizing on a CD, or a predicted movement, cause his kit lacks cooldowns and is very untelegraphed with when he'll use abilities like wind wall or where he'll dash to next, you just gotta hope he goes where you want but otherwise he'll stomp you.

I do not believe a full rework is necessary but he does need some kind of change with his kits, even minirework shyvana level, just so riot has something they can actually balance with numbers instead of either keeping him the champion he is or removing him. Looks like they're doing that by giving him AD ratios so they can nerf his base damages.

Quit overreacting, they said that a small Kat-level rework might (KEYWORD MIGHT) be in order. As in a class-mass rework.

Firstly, let me clarify that what you are going to see is not a nerf to Yasuo's E, but actually a buff.

It is going to lose base damage, big whoop. The real news is gaining 0.2 AD ratio - or 20% of your AD on every cast of E. So if you have 300 damage, you gain 60 plus AP PLUS the base every single cast. The base damage is really just a joke, and a bad one at that.

They are also buffing Yi this patch and giving him meditate stacks of his passive? Good grief. Way to send us all to Overwatch, Riot. This is getting unbearable.

And his winrate is low because I know, personally, a few Yasuo mains who THROW the game after getting a bunch of kills to avoid nerfs from Riot. This is apparently the attitude among people who play that cancerous, non-resource using champion that they'll lose a game to avoid having necessary nerfs. Yasuo cannot out-play anybody, he has so much damage in his kit he steamrolls over nearly anything - I took out a Malphite with 4 items with Yasuo and I only had two! I have no doubt the winrate is purposely affected by people throwing to avoid the nerfs he so desperately needs - REAL NERFS, not this E base damage crap.

has the uptime of windwall ever been considered? it could be a very similar thing like riven dash was where the shield would stay up for awhile... so they made it that the shield would go down after maybe a second maybe yasuos windwall should be similar it probably stays up for a good while maybe 4ish seconds. with it up maybe 2 seconds itll only be as good for a polished yasuo

btw i really dont care if he gets a nerf i dont want a kit change i love his kit
