Anything remotely strategic is thrown out the window, I HATE the direction Riot is taking. Trying to turn LoL into Mobile Legends and Overwatch will backfire
This, and another problem that the wise Bricky mentioned in a video:
**"One person on your team can lose you the game, but one person on the team cannot win you the game." **
And I get the whole team game thing, but legit the moment you're outnumbered, even 2v1, even if you're remotely fed, (unless you're Sion) you're basically boned.

Flawed matchmaking (1 team is always better than the other one, to force a 50% win ratio) + snowballing out of control.

This is the result of Riot forcing the team snowball idea over the solo snowball. If a team snowballs you, you have no chance at a comeback. If a solo lane carries at least you can section him off and win. But until they return solo lane carries this is what you'll experience more than not.

I just had a super close match. Blue team had a large lead for most of mid game. Was super fun to play. I would have been fine winning or losing that match. Majority of my games are actually really even and close. They keep me on the edge of my seat and get my adrenaline pumping. Super fun. It's the only reason I have consistently played league for the last 7 1/2 years (:
