Reksai, 2 patches, 2 nerfs... 56% to 47%

I know average win rate doesn't mean everything. Obviously there are some very popular pro champs that don't have the best win % due to complexity of kit, and hairpin moves. I do not believe rek'sai is one of those champs. This last nerf seemed way overkill. He was already down to 52% winrate overall, did he really need more? I thought the first nerf was appropriate, but he was still comfortable in the jungle, still could make some solid plays if people were pushed way out. He can be in on more plays than most people are comfortable with, granted, but he has no big teamfight combo like Vi or J4, who he seemed in line with. He's got a decently challenging and unique kit, but he straight up feels gutted now. Mobility wins games, but so do lockdown ults, which he has never had as part of his kit. Nor does he have any teambuffs or lockdown combos, he just has his team knockup possibility, decent chase and poke. Nothing made me think an additional nerf of the magnitude was needed, and frankly, he's moved into unhealthy territory. Being in on every play is usually a benefit, but if he's weak in trades, every ult is just more gold for the other team.

*She Rek'Sai is a Queen and she will be treated as such tysm.

I personally think it is too early to tell if the Rek nerfs were too much. To start off with she was quite strong while people were learning her so that when they nerfed her the first time a lot of people playing Rek'sai didn't really know how to play Rek well, they just relied on her overly strong numbers/kit. I believe that Rek'sai is new enough that people don't understand good tunnel placement, how to build, how to combo yet. Some do, but I believe quite a few players do not. As such I feel like a lot of people who were playing her right after her nerfs were people playing her just because she as OP. It's hard to tell how these changes will really effect her until people understand how to use her correctly, imo.

I have to agree, you typically have to wait a few days for stats to regulate after changes to kits. You had people used to the old trying to play her like she was the old Rek'sai and she's not anymore, it's different, the damage is different, i think it'll regulate out and she'll be in a decent spot in a couple days. Even after the initial nerf she was still exceptionally strong for people just picking her up for the first time. Furthermore, thank you for correcting all of the he usage.

That's exactly it. Those nerfs might have hit her hard or maybe they didn't hit her hard enough, but we're not going to figure that out until we have enough play time to adjust to the changes.

Also the he usage really bugs me. :( we get 1 female void creature and she still isn't seen as such.

Win rate dropped like a rock because she is no longer free win

She is starting to actually make you think a bit, her win rate will probably recover in a little while

Also... http://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats 53% win rate at gold or higher

Riight.. Rek'sai being a free win compared to well play Lee sin or Jarvan.

You didn't, I mentioned it because it was a comparison between her and other junglers.

That isn't a strawman, a strawman would be addressing an entirely different point. My counterpoint was that suggesting Rek'sai was a free win pre-nerfs is rdculous given that there are junglers who are far stronger than her.

Doesn't mean Reksai wasn't... AS WELL...

Nope, she really wasn't, people just don't realize a character 1 CC ability and a single slow moving gap closer with a non damaging ult, needs its power to be shifted to its primary abilities. So they just stand there, and instead of warding properly, and destroying her tunnels, they let her do whatever she pleased.

Just like Tryndamere does.

"Winrate doesn't matter" -Boards whining about Kalista.

I don't know, I can still get away with crazy builds.... as a matter of fact I just posted something related to that opinion here http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/GD/pj2eJJTZ-league-of-legends-assassin-reksai-nerfs-are-nothing

The issue right now is that middle ground is hard to find for balancing a champ without seeing each change in effect for awhile, they patched in the first, watched it for awhile, then tried again. More changes will come, no matter what any of our opinions are :/
